19- Long live the king — or Mr Bear?

In this episode of the Grumpy Old Bears podcast show, we pay our respects to the passing of Queen Elizabeth of England, as well as also give homage to a current faculty member of Sgt Fred’s high school.

In addition, Mr Bear is also a great football fan, as he clearly imitates one of his greatest players, P. Mahomes and the Raiders team.

But the first half of the episode deals with the discussion of the British monarchy — whether it may continue or not, depending upon the feelings of the Brits.

Also, Sgt Fred delivers some atta-boys to his past high school teacher that gave him knowledge, insight and also virtues both in the classroom, as well as the athletic field and especially in the mind and convictions that got Sgt Fred through the tough times in his life during the conflict of the Vietnam War, as he was a combat infantryman.

And Matt shares in the memories of those who passed away, but who had a great significance and lasting memory in his own experience, as well.

So, in memory of the late Queen and the future destiny of King Charles, we dedicate this episode and see if we should start to sing “God save the King” or even “God save the BEAR.”
